Only 14 people entered February's contest, (maybe something to do with the fact that it was a gull!) with only 6 people guessing correctly. The bird was a Bonaparte's Gull that was photographed at Georgetown WWTP this past January. You can now check the website to see what the bird looked like when it reared its head!! The winner of this month's contest was Jack Peachey of Conway, SC. He wins the Ventures Gift Certificate, as well as a copy of the brand new and updated Redshank Software's Avendex Carolinas birding program." The March bird is not a gull and is already up, so see if you can do this one!! Remember that the person with the highest number of correct answers by the end of the year is in the running for a $100 gift certificate!
