An easy relaxing day and a walk through beautiful scenery. We may have some
moderate uphill walking. Bring good walking boots, binoculars
and
maybe a notebook - just in case you want to write notes!
Have you ever heard someone describe a bird's location by telling you it's in the "green tree over there?" Worse still, I am sure you have heard the words "Can't you see it? It's so obvious sitting in the green tree?" Do the words "It's at 2 o'clock on the oak branch" make you shudder? Do you know your oaks from your pines from your maples? How about the locusts, tulips and hickories? Can you find the tree trunk with the light pattern on it? Join us for a day out learning how to identify our local trees by their silhouette, growing habit and even leaf shape and also how to give directions on finding birds in a seemingly impossible green jungle. It's not really as difficult as it seems, or is it?
$35 per person per day.
Price includes: A delicious picnic lunch will be provided.
