Customized Tours in Western North Carolina
Are you planning to visit Asheville or Western North Carolina? Are you searching for any particular bird species that occurs in the Mountains? How about a full or half day tour searching for warblers or enjoying the birds, butterflies and wildflowers of our area?
We offer full or half day birding tours either specializing in certain harder to find birds or birding in general. If any of these options interest you, please contact us here in the Ventures Office. We will happily work with you in whatever context you choose.
As of 2008, our rates are as follows: 1 person for a half day tour is $100, add $50 for each additional person up to 4. Refreshments included. For a full day tour, the costs are $200 for 1 person, add $100 for each additional person up to 4. Delicious picnic lunches are $10 each- please specify if you are vegetarian.
We can also (and do regularly) run birding trips for groups larger than 4 people. Again please contact the office for details.
Longer Customized Tours
If you and some friends would like to take an all inclusive birding trip, we would also be happy to help put that together for you. We run birding tours to many parts of the US and Canada, as well as to European birding hotspots and many locations in Central and South America, Africa and Asia. So, if you would like to visit English bird preserves, watch pheasants in Bhutan or enjoy an African Safari, please let us quote a price for your tour.
