Key highlights include searching for the White-winged Guan, the spectacular Marvelous Spatuletail, the elusive Long-whiskered Owlet and Rufous-capped Thornbills. The region is a hotspot for endemics, including the Royal Sunangel, Rusty-tinged Antpitta, and White-masked Antbird. This route provides unmatched species diversity, blending high-altitude birding with rich hummingbird and tanager viewing in the region’s cloud forests.
