Cure your ‘Case of the Mondays’ with warbler watching at Jackson Park, one of the best migration hotspots in the region.
Jackson Park in Hendersonville is easily one of the best migration hotspots in all of WNC. Nearly every migrating songbird in the east has been recorded here, with as many as 23 warblers recorded in a single day! As we get into mid-April we approach peak migration. Plus many of our local breeders have started nesting. These are some of our best birding times at Jackson Park.
Meeting place & time: We will begin at the Jackson Park Administration building parking lot at 8:00 AM. The address for Jackson Park is: 801 Glover Street, Hendersonville, NC 28792. Depending on your navigation system, Glover St. may be referred to as ‘Jackson Park Rd.’
