Join us for the Fall 2026 Edition of our highly popular “Mondays with Mike” series.
These half-day walks monitor fall migration at Jackson Park in Hendersonville under the direction of Mike Resch. Jackson Park is easily one of the best, if not THE best, fall migration hotspots in western North Carolina. Last fall’s walks tallied 24 warbler species and nearly 100 total species. And featured on an amazing array of highly sought-after migrants including Black-bill Cuckoo, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Philadelphia Vireo, and Golden-winged, Mourning, Connecticut, and “Brewster’s” Warblers.
The 6 walks in the 2026 “Mondays with Mike” series are scheduled to coincide with the early, peak, and later stages of the fall migration season. Why not join us for all 6 walks to truly witness the progression of the extensive fall migration at Jackson Park!
