Mondays with Mike - Walk #2, 9/15/25

Eastern Wood-Pewee

The second Mondays with Mike walk at Jackson Park on 9/15 was most successful, with the group tallying 56 species.  Some of our best birds was a most cooperative Hooded Warbler and a Nashville Warbler.  Probably our most unlikely bird was a flyover Killdeer, and our rarest was a shy Yellow-bellied Flycatcher.  And the mosquitoes weren’t even too bad!  Through 2 walks we’re up to 69 species total including 15 warbler species. eBird checklist can be found here - ebird.org/checklist/S273614951
